The Graphic Design Project provides short courses in graphic design and related subjects for beginners in design and those who wish to build up their professional portfolio for employment or education. All short courses can either be taken independently or with tutor support. We can also tailor make a project to your own requirements.

Our projects are also ideal for the home schooled, using graphic design and related subjects to explore a range of topics and issues, building up a creative portfolio on the way.

Projects are aimed at teens but can be taken by anyone wishing to further their skills in design thinking and creative problem solving. We welcome lifelong learners.

The projects range from basic design layout through to more complicated promotional campaigns, from packaging to magazine spreads, posters to C.D. covers, store graphics to artist’s books. Skills covered include, amongst others, typography, photography, illustration and retail graphics.  As well as graphic design some of our short courses also investigate design for interiors, fashion, garden, theatre and film set and costume design.
