Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.

These seasonal images, by our own Sean de Burca, are inspired by the 3D silhouette work of Jan Pienkowski, especially his illustrations for The Nutcracker. The stage set effect is very apt for the season of ballets, plays and pantomimes. Pienkowski’s work also features in our project called Legend, in which you can create impressive illustrations for a book for children.

At this time of year, with many festivals occurring, you may also like our project, Season’s Greetings, about self-promotional embellished letterforms. This gives you a chance to advertise yourself as a designer, while sending cards for the festival of your choice.
